This record has such a magical flow to it, it seems to capture so directly the ups and downs of life, the joy of music and dance, and it's just so damn catchy and fun to listen to as well. Giles

Peter Evans performance here is certainly a step beyond what has come before. At times harsh and abrasive, yet always lyrical. Ken Vandermarks solo recordings on Site Specific come to mind in that the environment helps to shape the overall tone of the compositions.

i am always looking for albums that blur the line between classical and jazz; this one nails it. leo smith is a master of the craft, all of his albums are a pleasure to listen to. gaiusfolk
