"Ramblin'" to tytuł płyty nowego zespołu na scenie polskiego jazzu - trio Bothur / Skolik / Kowalewski. Nowy zespół lecz muzycy doskonale znani, saksofonista Jarosław Bothur to współpracownik m.in. Zbigniewa Wegehaupta, Janusza Muniaka, Piotra Barona, Michała Miśkiewicza, Jerzego Małka, charyzmatyczny perkusista Arek Skolik to współpracownik m.in. Piotra Wojtasika, Zbigniewa Namysłowskiego, Leszka Możdżera, Tomasza Szukalskiego, Mietka Szcześniaka, Lory Szafran, Janusza Muniaka, Piotra Barona, Michała Urbaniaka, Urszuli Dudziak, Jarosława Śmietany, Jana Ptaszyna Wróblewskiego jak też Lee Konitza, Steve'a Logana, Nigela Kennedy'ego i kontrabasista Adam Kowalewski grający w składach Janusza Muniaka, Jana Ptaszyna Wróblewskiego, Tomasza Szukalskiego, Tomasza Stańko, Leszka Możdżear, Adama Pierończyka, Jarosława Śmietany czy też z Bennie Maupinem, Eddie Hendersonem, Gary Bartzem, Johnem Abercrombie, Johnem Purcell'em, Kevinem Mahogany, Scottem Hamiltonem, Karin Krog, Wolfgangiem Puschnigiem.

Zespół w składzie saksofon/kontrabas/perkusja oddaje hołd najsłynniejszym jazzowym formacjom bez instrumentu harmonicznego, tj. trio Sonny'ego Rollinsa, Joe Hendersona, czy Ornette'a Colemana.
Utwory zebrane na płycie, to wybór kompozycji największych twórców w historii jazzu: od Billy'ego Strayhorna, przez Charlie'ego Parkera, po Theloniousa Monka i Ornette'a Colemana. Wszystkie zagrane z wielkim poszanowaniem tradycji (co łączy tych trzech muzyków), surowo, a zarazem z wykorzystaniem współczesnych pomysłów aranżacyjnych, jakie daje trio bez instrumentu harmonicznego.
Mimo odważnego doboru utworów i stylistyk, z założenia ma to być płyta na wskroś jazzowa, prezentująca elegancką i dojrzałą odsłonę jazzu.

The Band gives tribute to the most famous bands of the kind, such as the trio of Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, and Ornett Coleman. The pieces included in the album are a compilation of compostitions of the greatest musicians in the history of jazz: Strayhorn, Parker, Monk and Ornett Coleman. All of them were played in a very raw and modern style, with a dose of energy, and at the same time with huge respect for tradition (which is the connecting point between these three musicians). The album is deeply jazzy, and it presents a mature touch of acoustic jazz.
